A big congratulations to our Choir students for their fantastic performance at the Winter Concert last night! The hard work and dedication they put in were on full display, and it was a great night filled with incredible music. A special thank you to choir teacher and director, Katie Sullivan, for her leadership and commitment to our students. Well done, everyone!
Thank You for a Great Parent-Teacher Night!
A huge thank you to all the parents and guardians who joined us for Parent-Teacher Night last night! Your partnership and involvement are key to student success here at OA, and we appreciate you taking the time to connect with teachers. If you were unable to attend or have any questions or concerns about your student’s progress, we encourage you to reach out to their teachers—open communication is always welcomed.
A special shoutout to our PTSA for taking care of our teachers on this long day by providing dinner and refreshments. We are so grateful for the support and generosity that makes nights like this easier for our staff.
Period 4 Progress Grades Are In - Check Aeries!
We also want to remind families that we have reached the end of Progress Period 4, which determines eligibility for athletics and extracurricular activities. Now is a great time to check Aeries for updates on your student’s progress. We encourage students to take advantage of the resources available, including intervention, tutoring, and teacher support, to stay on track for success.
ASB SPOTLIGHT
This week’s Senior Spotlight is Sophia!
Sophia has been all-in at OA, competing in varsity track, swimming, and cross country for all four years. She’s also been part of Surf Club and spent three years in ASB.
Her advice to freshmen? Get involved! She knows it might sound cliché, but she promises high school gets way better when you step in, meet new people, and make the most of it. Don’t just sit on the sidelines—jump in!
Congratulations, Sophia!

Spartan Code Highlight: Follow the Dress Code
As the temperatures rise, it’s a great time to remind all Spartans to follow the OAHS dress code. Dressing appropriately helps maintain a focused learning environment and ensures that all students feel comfortable and respected. Before heading to school, take a moment to check that your outfit meets the guidelines. Let’s keep it classy and school-ready as we enjoy the warmer days ahead!
