Serving with Purpose

As we approach Veteran’s Day, we take time to honor those who have served our country with courage and dedication. Their example reminds us that service—whether to our nation, our school, or our community—is at the heart of what makes us stronger together.

REMINDER, we will have no school on TUESDAY, November 11, in honor of Veterans Day.

Parents Who Serve

Our OAHS parent organizations model that same spirit of service. From our PTSA and SOAAR to the OAHS Boosters, your time, creativity, and care make a lasting impact.

A special shoutout to everyone involved in the Booster Auction this weekend, especially our Booster President, Adrian Duncan and her team, who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure this is a successful event. Events like this fund student activities, athletics, and enrichment programs that directly benefit every Spartan.

Thank you for your continued commitment and generosity.

Students Serving Our Community

Students, as you complete your community service hours, remember to keep track of them and to log them in x2VOL for verification toward graduation requirements.

For those looking to get involved, explore opportunities through x2VOL and YouthWell.org/volunteer-opportunities—two great resources connecting teens to service projects across our school community and Santa Barbara County.
