Spartan Showcase – We Hope to See Everyone There!

There is a lot of excitement on campus as we start the very busy month of May. Our Spartatroniks 3512 Robotics Team has been in Houston this week competing at the World Championship, representing Orcutt Academy on the global stage. We continue to cheer them on and are incredibly proud of the way they represent our school.

Prom takes place tomorrow night, AP Testing begins next week, and spring athletics continue to keep our campus busy. Track & Field will compete in League Prelims this Saturday, several of our spring sports are wrapping up outstanding seasons, and Varsity Boys Volleyball starts its postseason run as they prepare for CIF competition.

Next week is also Teacher Appreciation Week. We are incredibly thankful for the outstanding teachers and staff who invest in our students each and every day. A special thank you to our PTSA, who is once again going all out to make sure our staff feels appreciated and celebrated throughout the week. The support of our parent community continues to make Orcutt Academy such a special place.

With so much happening, there is no better time to come together as a school community.

Spartan Showcase – Wednesday, May 6

Please join us this Wednesday, May 6, in the OAHS Gym for our annual Spartan Showcase, where we celebrate the many talents, accomplishments, and opportunities that make Orcutt Academy such a special place.

The evening begins at 5:00 p.m. with opening remarks from Mr. Carter, followed by student performances, interactive exhibits, and opportunities to experience firsthand the incredible work happening across our campus.

5:00–5:05 p.m. – Opening Remarks from Mr. Carter
5:05–5:45 p.m. – Choir & OATA Performance
5:45–6:15 p.m. – Exhibit Walkthroughs
6:00–6:30 p.m. – Jazz Band
6:30–7:00 p.m. – Concert Band

ASB Updates

Senior Spotlight

This week’s Senior Spotlight is Carlotta Musti! Carlotta has spent this school year at Orcutt Academy as our foreign exchange student, joining us from the town of Latina, Italy, located just outside of Rome.

Carlotta’s hobbies include playing soccer, cooking, baking desserts, and spending time with friends. She shared that her favorite place is the beach because it brings her a sense of calm and happiness. Back home, she also has a seven-year-old sister named Eleanora.

Thank you, Carlotta, for sharing your culture, positivity, and experiences with our Spartan family this year.
